Hello.

my name is Kim Dam. My mom wanted to name me Kimberly, but my dad told me that was too much work, so he named me Kim. The existence of my name seems to be born out of laziness. I often wonder whether my name has influenced how I am today. Kim means gold in Chinese and Vietnamese. It also means needle in Vietnamese. It is spelled exactly the same with no accents. I pay attention to little things, get flustered by people I admire, and am as uncool as you think you are. I don't really pay attention too well during lectures, learn visually, and know how to cut to the chase mentally. I have but a weary heart. My dad's family was a meat butcher family. My mom's family was wealthy, as my grandpa sold John Deer tractors and was a photographer. As oceans come by, my dad became a printer and my mom a seamstress. As for me all I could do is take their memories and intertwine them with my rather haphazard journey of living. I've traveled to 13 countries and hope to do more. I love long rides. I live for moments like these.
