the last few hours of having the internet and filling my head with useless knowledge about film stars (apparently Joseph Gordon-Levitt looks like Heath Ledger) and some other Japanese art pizazz (via our friends over at thisisunstoppable). I've developed an obsession with Zooey Deschanel.
Having been in my most recent favorite movie 500 days of summer, I thought she was pretty tight. First heard of her back in Berkeley while at the radio station, as part of She&Him (currently having sold out shows in the U.S.) but of course my ears were busy and I didn't take the time to listen. She currently has bomb ass sunglasses named after her, but as much as I try to be the non-materialistic trooper, I can't help but bring my capitalism-self out and want these glasses worth about 2.5 months of my volunteer stipend.

Yeah her acting doesn't impress me, and her band leaves me feeling just the same. However, making bomb-ass glasses gives her some brownie points. For now with my limited funds, I'll just buy some more of her movies and $1.75 Ray Bans.
